Paintings depicting Great Lakes states in winter will be featured at The Inn at Harbor Shores in St. Joseph, Michigan through May 17. The collection, titled RETRO . SPECT by Alli Farkas, shows winter scenes from Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan and Ohio. Farkas says her paintings use thin layers glazed over one another to create depth through transparency, color and light. Farkas currently resides in Dowagiac, Michigan.
Art exhibits at The Gallery at Harbor Shores are reserved exclusively for Michigan artists on a rotating basis. Farkas’ artwork is open to the public, and displayed pieces will be available for purchase.
