The “Evolution of the Day Yacht” is here with MJM’s new 4z performance day yacht, designed as a blend of the ever popular MJM 3z Dual Console and lauded express cruiser MJM 40z. The new 4z crossover was introduced during a press conference at the United States Boat Show in Annapolis, Maryland, and promises to lead the way in performance yachting, with impressive handling and stability and powerful performance of 50 mph.
Onboard, attention to detail is obvious throughout the four social zones and new galley-up design that keeps everyone at the center of the action. An open bow and aft cockpit provide plenty of spacious outdoor seating, and an indoor/outdoor pilot house with electronically activated windshields and sliding side windows makes it a breeze to enjoy the outdoors or extend the boating season with a little indoor protection from the elements.
Overnight accommodations below deck include a large V-berth and double berth, with a yacht-sized head that includes a glass-enclosed shower. The 4z is initially offered with the option of triple 300-hp Mercury outboards or twin 600-hp Mercury Verados, with twin 440-hp Volvo DPI sterndrives to be offered for the 2024 model year.
