Monterey introduced its new Elite 23, expanding the Elite Series to include models ranging from 23 to 30 feet. The Elite 23 delivers performance, craftsmanship and premium offerings that are expected from the Elite name, all in a 23-foot class. Monterey announced Elite 34 and Elite 38 models are set to follow in the summer and fall, offering an even broader range of sizes.
In 2025, the Elite Series saw category-leading year-over-year retail growth, with the Elite 30 ranking first in sales, followed by the Elite 27. Since its debut, the Elite Series has earned a Boat of the Year award, the Miami Innovation Award and Boating Industry’s Top Product honor.
“The Elite Series was conceived as a cohesive family of boats from the beginning,” says Charles Marshall, cochairman of Monterey Boats. “We focused on hull performance, handling precision, craftsmanship, and long-term ownership value. The Elite 23 carries those same fundamentals into a critical size category, and that same philosophy will continue as we introduce the Elite 34 and Elite 38. Together, these introductions reflect a deliberate expansion strategy designed to strengthen the Elite Series at both entry and upper premium tiers.”
Monterey also confirmed continued selective expansion of its Elite-focused dealer network, supporting dealers and customers worldwide through a growing distribution network. “We approach network growth with discipline,” explains Kim Loenichen, vice president of sales. “The Elite Series requires dealers who understand premium retail execution and long-term customer relationships. Expansion must strengthen territories, protect profitability, and sustain retail performance.”
