AkzoNobel Yacht Coatings has introduced a new, easier to apply topside system with two new products in its high performance International range: One UP (Undercoat and Primer) and Toplac Plus.
One UP is a versatile undercoat and primer in one that offers boaters a faster application time. The new silicone alkyd premium gloss topcoat, Toplac Plus, stays glossy for longer and is available in 24 bright colors. UV filters in Toplac Plus help keep colors glossier for longer. The topcoat can be applied with a brush or roller, reducing application time.
“This system requires fewer products and coats, while delivering an excellent, high-quality finish, while its expanded range of colors is in direct response to what we know our customers want,” says Matt Anzardo, AkzoNobel global yacht segment manager. “Fewer coats, high-quality finishes means that boaters spend less time working on the boat and more time enjoying it.”
