New Charter Company Opens in Chicago’s Belmont Harbor

By August 8, 2019No Comments

Just north of the famed skyline in Chicago is the city’s newest charter company, Chicago Classic Boat Charters. Cruise in style aboard one of the company’s two vintage vessels. The typically three-hour rentals include a licensed captain, ice, water, light refreshments and snacks, cutlery, sunscreen, towels and four floating water toys. The boats can accommodate up to 12 passengers. One of the boats includes the 1960 Hatteras, Grace — the seventh hull ever produced by Hatteras.

Charter prices depend on the day of the week, but start at $300 per hour. Routes are chosen by the guests, but costs for pickups and drop-offs at locations other than Dock B in Belmont Harbor vary (these include City Winery on the Chicago River, Monroe Harbor or the Lakeshore Path). There are also optional charter add-ons, including $60 per hour for a tour guide and $50 for arranging catering.
