New Cleveland Boat Launch Fees Will Go Toward Lake Erie Improvements

By April 4, 2019No Comments

Cleveland Metroparks will charge a $5 daily fee to launch a boat at its four Lake Erie ramps this summer, but all the money will go toward Lake Erie shore improvements, according to Cleveland.com. The four boat ramps located at Edgewater Park, Gordon Park, Wildwood Park and Rocky River Reservation will also offer a $30 fee for the entire season.

While there are numerous launching sites across the city, there are nearly 30,000 registered boats in Cuyahoga County, and many sites do carry a fee. By using one of the four listed above, you can be sure your money goes to helping preserve and improve shoreline. Kayaks, canoes and paddleboards can continue to launch for free.
