Florida-based Correct Craft marine innovator has developed a unique “Lake Cleanup Boat” that uses a vacuum to gather waste from waterways. Built on a SeaArk hull, the boat vacuums up unwanted waste from hard-to-reach areas on the water, including bottles, Styrofoam and other plastics that are harmful to wildlife and ecosystems.

The boat will be used to keep the lakes clean in communities around Correct Craft subsidiaries, and Correct Craft also has plans to make the boat available to other communities looking to clean their waterways, and is even working to provide additional boats at minimum cost to organizations who would like their own.

“Our team cares about the environment and created this innovative new boat to help our communities keep their lakes clean,” explains Bill Yeargin, president and CEO of Correct Craft. “We will do our best to make it available to those who need it and will be happy to consider ways we can help others acquire a Lake Cleanup Boat of their own.

The Correct Craft team will also be volunteering to help clean up the waters near their facilities with the use of the new boat. “I want to give a special thanks to our SeaArk team who made this vision a reality,” Yeargin adds. “I am impressed with how all our Correct Craft teams consistently step up to help with our philanthropic endeavors. I love our team!”
