Due to a high demand for slips at the Ottawa Beach Marina in Holland, Michigan — which begins construction mid-October for a spring 2019 opening — a lottery has been created to assign the last seven seasonal slips and two moorings for the 2019 season.
The Lake Macatawa marina will have 15 seasonal slips, four moorings, and 26 transient slips. Only seven of those seasonal slips remain after the first nine were reserved by members of the West Michigan Park Association. Lottery entries are due by August 2 at 11:59 p.m. and slips are non-transferable. After the drawings on August 3, a 25 percent deposit is due by August 17 to secure your slip.
