There’s a new company joining the pontoon world with a bang; Barletta Pontoon Boats officially launched early this year and already has a National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) Innovation Award under its belt.
The Bristol, Indiana-based company unveiled its first line of pontoon boats, the Barletta L-Class, in January. The L-Class line comes with eight different floor plan options and a number of convenient standard features, such as two-stage lifting strakes with invasive species flush, stern cooler storage, integrated pet food and water dishes, and more.
The company entered its L-Class series in the pontoon category for the 2018 NMMA Innovation Awards, which it won. The award is meant to recognize groundbreaking new products. Barletta president, Bill Fenech, is a three-decade veteran of the RV industry.
