The Ft. Pierce, Florida luxury sportfishing and cruising boat manufacturer Pursuit Boats, under the umbrella of Malibu Boats, achieved a new milestone last month. On September 21, the company reached one million man-hours worked without a lost-time incident.

The achievement is a testament to Pursuit’s commitment to the safety of its workers, and they celebrated with an awards ceremony, BBQ lunch and a four-day long raffle of 40 high-end giveaways. Each department honored a standout employee who has made a difference in the company, and special recognition was given to Angela Musiol, Environment Health and Safety Manager.

“One of the most rewarding experiences of my role within Pursuit Boats is the ability to share in the drive and inspiration of our extended family of employees. The pride and joy exuded by the teams who build Pursuit boats every day is fueled by their dedication and refined attention to detail,” says Bruce Thompson, president of Pursuit Boats. “We are proud of our team and their commitment to safety and we look forward to reaching a 2 million hour milestone.”
