Business is booming for Pursuit Boats — so much so that the company is expanding its production facilities in Fort Pierce, Florida. The company is constructing a new building that will give Pursuit the capability of increasing production up to 50 percent.
“We’re excited about the expansion and what the growth means for our company. A lot of hard work and planning has gone into making this a reality,” says Pursuit President Bruce Thompson. “The new building will give us the capability to continue to grow our portfolio while also increasing the efficiency of our manufacturing processes.”
The construction project will cost $2.1 million, expanding the existing facility by 14,000 square feet. It will also create 30 new jobs. Pursuit Boats expects construction to be completed by summer, so the facility can be running full-gear in time for the beginning of the 2018 model year.
