Raymarine released the ninth version of its LightHouse User Interface, LightHouse II, at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show held in October/November 2013. LightHouse II has been completely redesigned to give Raymarine owners a simpler, more user-friendly experience. Brand-new features include multi-touch pinch-to-zoom support on Raymarine aSeries multifunction displays, multiple network sonar support, greatly improved waypoint search and organization tools, and new and improved waypoint symbol library with larger waypoint symbols, among other features.
In addition to the redesigned user interface, LightHouse II is engineered with an all-new chart engine to support Raymarine’s new chart format, LightHouse Charts.
LightHouse II and LightHouse Charts of the U.S. will be available for free download in December 2013. Raymarine users of the latest generation of aSeries, cSeries, eSeries and gS Series multifunction displays can download and install LightHouse II and LightHouse USA Charts for free.
