Scanstrut and Mercury Marine are teaming up to make modern boating technology more user friendly. Scanstrut is an outdoor technologies leader known for its ROKK products, which are waterproof mounts that charge cell phones.
Scanstrut’s ROKK range will be used to support Mercury Marine’s VesselView Mobile, an app that allows boaters to connect and access engine data via Bluetooth. ROKK products will now be available through the Mercury dealer network, online and in catalogs.
“The product team and engineers and at Mercury have been extremely thorough in their review of ROKK products and its testament to the quality of the product that Mercury has selected the range to support the use of VesselView on-board,” said Scanstrut CEO Tom Reed in a statement. “ROKK will allow the app to easily view their device and keep it powered-up all day so they can enjoy the amazing benefits of the Mercury technology.”
