Scarab Jet Boats recently got to live the American dream: The Scarab 165 made its TV debut on “The Price is Right” game show as the featured prize in the Showcase Showdown.
According to an article on BoatingIndustry.com, ‘The Price is Right” show producers were looking for a flashy, exciting product to include in the final showcase showdown segments.
“We are always looking for effective ways to gain exposure for our boat brands and “The Price is Right” opportunity was an easy decision,” president Roch Lambert said in the article. “Purchasing television spot advertising is typically cost prohibitive. With this promotional partnership, the exposure and impressions value we have received with the show is far more reaching than spot buys.”
