In late September, Scout Boats held its 2017 model year dealer meeting. The two-day event, held in Charleston, South Carolina, involved a number of announcements and activities — the biggest of which was probably the unveiling of three new models for 2017.
The newly debuted models are the 255 Dorado, 215 XSF and the 175 Sport Dorado. Scout also unveiled a patented articulating rocket launcher feature for the 420 LXF, as well as a custom paint option. During the annual event, Scout also celebrated its top dealers and sales professionals from around the world with various awards, including top salesman of the year (Barry Marshall of Viage Group) and new dealer of the year (Northwest Boats of Portland, Oregon).
“We had our most successful dealer meeting to date,” says Scout senior vice president and COO Dave Wallace in a press release. “Our new model unveilings were well received by the media, our dealers and our customers who attended our boat sale expo, and we’re very proud of the dealer network we’ve built and how hard they work on our behalf.”
