Sea Ray is adding to its SDX Series with the debut of the SDX 270 and SDX 270 Surf. Available in sterndrive and surf configurations, the new SDX 270 models accommodate a wide range of on-water activities in a 27-foot package. The yacht-certified vessels offer large social zones, powerful propulsion, substantial storage and premium amenities.
“The SDX 270 and SDX 270 Surf are the latest boats in our lineup to receive a keel-up redesign, and the first SDX models crafted with our next-generation design language,” says Keith Yunger, Sea Ray president. “Also, the SDX 270 Surf is the first surf addition to our SDX Series.”
Features aboard include an electric-folding watersports tower (standard on the surf variation and optional on the sterndrive model), an oversized bow, a huge convertible transom sunpad and a standard starboard compartment that can be used to store life jackets, towels and other bulky items.
The SDX 270 is powered by a standard 300-hp Mercury MerCruiser 6.2L engine, while the SDX 270 Surf is propelled by a standard 350-hp MerCruiser 6.2L engine with a forward-facing Bravo Four S drive.
