Sea Tow Foundation Adds 31 Lifejacket Stands

By April 19, 2016No Comments

Boating just got a little bit safer; the Sea Tow Foundation announced 31 new life jacket loaner stands throughout the country. The Sea Tow Foundation’s life jacket loaner stands hold extra life jackets that boaters can borrow for an entire day free of charge. Life jackets are available from infant to adult extra-large sizes.

The new nonprofit organizations and boating agencies selected to host loaner stands are located throughout the country, from California to Texas, Maryland, Minnesota and the U.S. Virgin Islands. In the Great Lakes, new life jacket loaner stands are opening in Quincy, Illinois; Sebewaing, Michigan; New Berlin, Wisconsin; and Newport, Minnesota. The 31 new stands join 290 already in operation.

The new stations will be installed within the next month in order to be fully-operational in time for the 2016 summer boating season.
