After launching its first mobile application in 2012, Sea Tow is starting off the new decade by launching a brand-new version. The app, called “Sea Tow,” allows boaters to call the company’s 24-hour dispatch center, ask questions, share GPS coordinates, find local deals and discounts, and purchase or renew Sea Tow memberships all at the click of a button.
“Our top priority has always been providing the best possible service to our members and customers,” says Sea Tow President Kristen Frohnhoefer. “The new app will allow us to continue to do just that. Now, our nationwide network of captains will be more accessible than ever before.”
One update users of the old app will notice is the absence of weather and tide information, as the new app is more focused on on-water assistance. For those who still want the weather and tide information, visit Sea Tow’s recommended list of apps at seatow.com/app.
“We’ll leave the weather and tides to the experts,” Frohnhoefer adds. “We’re experts in providing the best assistance around, and the new app will ensure that we’re able to prove that to boaters everywhere.”
The Sea Tow app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. To download the new app, visit seatow.com/app.
