Simrad has rolled out a whole new range of autopilot products designed with sportfishing boats and other powerboats in mind. Continuum Steering has been added to the entire line, which also uses NMEA 2000. For boats up to 35 feet, Simrad’s autopilot products are powered by NAC-2; larger boats are powered by Simrad’s NAC-3.
Simrad’s AP44 Autopilot controller features automated turn patterns, no drift steering, depth contour tracking and more. The IS42 works as an instrument display or as a standalone autopilot controller. It integrates with the NSS evo2 and NSO evo2 multifunction displays and glass helm systems.
