Atlanta-based OneWater Marine Holdings has acquired Huron, Ohio-based South Shore Marine. The acquisition marks OneWater’s entry into the Midwest market; the company’s other holdings are primarily located in the South and Mid-Atlantic regions.
All existing personnel from South Shore, including former owner Tom Mack, will remain at South Shore Marine. The Five-Star Certified and Boating Industry Top 100 dealer will also open a new 13,000-square-foot sales showroom this October. In a statement, Mack said the acquisition will provide the company with greater resources and flexibility.
