Affordable versatility and comfort.

Pontoon boats have enjoyed more than a 25 percent share of the U.S. recreational boating market for several years now, and there’s no sign of that growth slowing down. Versatility is the pontoon’s trump card, as exemplified by the Tahoe Vista Cruise.
Pontoon boats have enjoyed more than a 25 percent share of the U.S. recreational boating market for several years now, and there’s no sign of that growth slowing down. Versatility is the pontoon’s trump card, as exemplified by the Tahoe Vista Cruise.
“The Tahoe Vista Cruise is an ideal boat for the Great Lakes, as the tritoon Waveglider package gives superior performance and handling on inland lakes, and also provides the ability to comfortably go out on the Great Lakes on most days,” says Matt Mrozinski, at Lake Michigan Yacht Sales (231-439-2675; onekamamarine.com). “Equally important is the thoughtfulness in design principles, including Flow Thru Ventilation on all seat bases to provide air flow and keep moisture to a minimum.”
With twin front lounge seats and an L-shaped wrap-around rear lounge, the 22-foot Vista Cruise offers comfortable seating for 11 adults. The driver gets a pedestal-mount captain’s chair with fold-down arms, a nicely sculpted fiberglass helm with a wood grain dash panel and an attractive, chrome-on-wood grain steering wheel with tilt function. The Jensen MS2013BT Bluetooth radio with USB and auxiliary input is standard, along with four high-power speakers. With its generous accommodations, three entry gates, expansive rear swim platform with aluminum boarding ladder, standard 25-quart cooler, changing room and standard 10-foot Bimini top, the Vista Cruise is clearly built for family weekends on the water.
While the Tahoe Vista Cruise comes with a long list of standard features, it’s the option list that’s particularly interesting. Available upgrades include shore power (A/C input and outlet, charger and inverter), bow-mount electric trolling motor, mood lighting, smoked glass table with stainless cup holders and stemware holders, wakeboard tower, integrated refreshment center with an electric wine rack and even a water mist system.
The 22-foot Vista Cruise also comes in a 20-foot model, as well as 24- and 26-foot models in the companion Elite series, which can seat up to 14 people. Try that with a pocket cruiser.
With such comfortable amenities, large passenger capacity and attractive pricing, it’s little wonder pontoons like the Tahoe Vista Cruise continue to earn more followers every season.
