Flagship Niagara League, which hosted the Tall Ships Erie festival in Erie, Pennsylvania, last August, was awarded the Port of the Year Award by Tall Ships America (TSA). The four-day event brought in 12 tall ships and tens of thousands of attendees, according to GoErie.com. The award was presented at TSA’s annual conference in St. Petersburg, Florida.
“Thank you to our staff, volunteers, supporters, local partners, fellow Tall Ships, PHMC, and to Tall Ships America for helping us to make our festival possible!” Flagship Niagara League said in a Facebook post.
