Team building, environmental awareness, and outdoor health make up the core of DUNEiversity, a new year-round program being offered at the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex. The program will accommodate a wide range of groups from elementary students to corporate leadership teams.
“Last summer we beta tested the program with kids from local schools and some local businesses like the Community Foundation and Holiday Inn managers,” says Bill Bailey,
Experiential learning is used to teach participants team building and cooperation skills. Groups play skill-building games and go on outdoor adventures in the Lake Michigan dunes with a DUNEiversity facilitator.
The program will also offer summer camp for kids and paddling classes. Interested parties can find more information at DUNEiversity.com.
