The Progressive Insurance Chicagoland Fishing, Travel & Outdoor Expo will take place January 23-26, 2020, at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. Attendees can explore fishing accessories and boats, as well as shop the best deals on fishing products, kayaks and travel destinations.
There will be many interactive exhibits, including an indoor fly-fishing pond; a 5,000-gallon bass- and panfish-stocked Hawg Trough; and an interactive fishing simulator.
Meet and greets will also be held with travel planners, trained raptor handlers and local manufacturers. This year’s convention features a new exhibit called Women in Fishing, where attendees can meet with female fishing guides, anglers and owners of women-owned fishing businesses.
Adults can attend the event for $13 a ticket, while tickets for children ages 6-11 are $3 and those under 5 are free. On Family Day — Sunday, January 26 — all children under 11 get in free. To learn more about the event, visit sportshows.com/chicago.
