Tiara Donates Life Jackets to Michigan Park

By June 28, 2017No Comments

Tiara Yachts has followed-up on a donation it made to the community more than a decade ago. The family-owned Holland, Michigan-based boatbuilder recently donated 20 new life jackets and safety signage to Holland State Park.

The 20 new lifejackets will replace those the company donated to the park in 2004, when the park first opened its life jacket stations. Beachgoers and boaters at Holland State Park are free to use the donated life jackets, available at a number of stations throughout the park.

Ottawa County Sheriff Sgt. Dean Devries requested the replacement life jackets from Tiara, and said Tiara immediately complied.

“I would like to see life jacket stations all over,” said DeVries in an article for MLive.com. “We are in favor of everybody having access to life jackets.”
