Toronto Boat Show Runs January 12-21

By January 4, 2018No Comments

North America’s largest indoor boat show is right around the corner: The Toronto International Boat Show is celebrating its 60th year January 12 to 21 at Toronto’s Enercare Centre. Boaters can stop by the show to check out more than 550 exhibitors, 1,200 boats, free seminars, celebrity guests and tons of family-friendly activities.

The more than 1,200 boats and hundreds of new products on display at the Toronto International Boat Show are only a fraction of what makes up the show. New and advanced boaters will enjoy the New Boater Welcome Center; the Boathouse, a center of boating experts and leaders; and the ability to sign up for 250 free seminars. For the first time, crewmembers of the Mercy Ships Canada, the world’s largest volunteer-run hospital ship, will also be at the show to talk with boaters.

For those looking for some action, this year’s boat show will host SUP Polo and Kayak Polo games, as well as pro-wakeboarding and waterskiing shows. The World Championship Indoor Sea Flea Races are also expected to draw crowds at the show. For those who would rather be in the action, there will be free boating activities, such as kayaking, canoeing and wakeboarding lessons.

If that’s not enough, Brenda Lowe from “Survivor” and “Baywatch” will make an appearance, along with the much-beloved Twiggy the Waterskiing Squirrel.
