In August, bicyclists can tour Michigan’s Upper Peninsula during the Tour Da Yoop, Eh bike race. This 10-day, 1,200-mile race winds through all 15 U.P. counties, taking participants from St. Ignace all the way to Manistique and alongside three Great Lakes.
The race offers two different challenge levels and many different riding options, including the 10-day challenge ride (August 6 – 15), midweek rides (August 10 – 12), three-day rides, two-day rides and even pick your day rides.
“[Tour Da Yoop] is about challenging yourself, enjoying Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and making new friends, yet it is so much more than those simple words,” the event website states.
