TruNorth Adventures Offers Marquette Paddle Tours

TruNorth Adventures, an adventure paddle tour company, is now offering three different guided kayak tours around the Marquette, Michigan area. The tours will cruise along the Lake Superior shoreline and explore sights around Presque Isle.

The first tour option is best for beginners. The Tour du Ore Dock tour is a 3-hour trip from Clark Lambros Park, past Upper Harbor Ore Dock and around Presque Isle and it’s sandstone and granite cliffs. The Island Hopping Tour also starts at Clark Lambros Park, goes around Presque Isle, then through semi-open water to reach a series of granite islands and beaches. This tour includes a cliff dive or island exploration.

The trips vary in duration, but all include a full meal from Jimmy John’s and a redeemable beer chip for Ore Dock Brewing Company. In case of bad weather and poor paddling conditions, guides will instead take paddlers to Deer Lake in Ishpeming.
