Riding on a foam-filled, epoxy resin hull that’s literally unsinkable, the 23 Bristol Harbor Series center console by Vanquish Boats is designed to blend versatility and comfort in a family-friendly package.
Based on the company’s popular 21-foot center console, the 23CC adds features and a bit more interior space to give this model even greater capability while maintaining its easily trailerable footprint. Wood-free construction and generous use of stainless steel fittings ensure the 23CC will keep looking great for years to come.
“The 23CC is well-suited for the Great Lakes because of her performance, the efficiency of the hull and the stability of the hull design,” says Christopher Hughes, who oversees marketing for Vanquish Boats. “Since the Great Lakes can get a bit of chop, the Vanquish 23CC can stay out in total comfort when many other boats need to head back in.”
The elegant fiberglass console comes with a comfort-grip steering wheel, plenty of space for flush-mounting large multifunction displays, an electric horn and a unique wooden shelf for securing cell phones or tablets, complete with a USB charging outlet.
Standard features on the 23 Bristol Harbor Series CC include an insulated livewell, a self-draining cockpit and a fiberglass leaning post with a custom seat that hides an integrated cooler. What’s more, the center section of the full-beam rear bench seat folds down to provide clear access to the broad swim platform. LED courtesy lights, a porta-potti (which can be upgraded to a full head with holding tank) and comfy bow seating with a full wraparound coaming backrest also come standard. Owners can further choose from a range of options that include niceties like trim tabs, teak decks, teak trim, a Bimini top, a T-top, Ultraleather upholstery and a transom shower.
Base power for the 23 Bristol Harbor Series Center Console is a 150-hp Mercury Four-Stroke outboard, which delivers a top speed in the range of 45 knots and economical cruising at just under 30 mph. Moving up to maximum power of a 200 Verado or Yamaha four-stroke raises the performance bar even further with comparable fuel economy.
