Vintage Views Prints

By July 24, 2015No Comments

Step back in time with Vintage Views Prints, high-quality prints of authentic Great Lakes touring and resort ephemera derived from materials dating back to the 1800s.

The prints are adaptations of vintage steamship, railroad, tourist and travel brochures from the Great Lakes region.
After collecting these for more than 25 years, Tom Wilson of Grand Rapids, Michigan created prints featuring the stunning graphics from this golden age of travel. The steamship and railroad prints are adapted from original brochure cover artwork paired with maps showing the various routes.

The prints are evocative of a slower time, when a cruise on the Great Lakes was truly “the dustless way to Happy Land,” as once promoted in an old Graham and Morton brochure.

Prints are available in shops along the West Michigan coast, from St. Joseph to Mackinac Island, and also online at vintageviewprints.com.
