Voting is happening now for US Harbors’ third annual “Best Harbor in the U.S.” contest. Voting is open to everyone through May 31 and provides a chance for boaters and communities to recognize incredible marinas while promoting the strength and vitality of coastal communities.
US Harbors provides information on the coastal and marine weather, tide charts, harbor-local boating and fishing info for 1,400 harbors in the U.S. Participants can vote for any one of these harbors, limited to one vote per user.
Winning harbors will be announced on June 4, and the top four harbors will receive special plaques commemorating their win, with a special event thrown for the overall winner, including gifts for its community. In previous years, over 100,000 people all over the country participated in the annual contest.
Share photos, post on social media and spread the word to get others to join the vote for Best Harbor. Previous Best Harbor winners have included Padanaram, Massachusetts (2019), and Depoe Bay, Oregon (2021).
