Voyager Safety Systems, presenting its thruster-activated docking camera system developed with JC Tritoon, won an IBEX Innovation Award for safety equipment at the 2025 event.
This ground-breaking system is the first of its kind, engineered specifically to integrate with aft and bow side thrusters. The system is redefining docking safety and precision — complete with night vision technology for low-light conditions.
The new Voyager docking camera innovation automatically activates when the pontoon’s thrusters are engaged, instantly providing the operator with live views of both port and starboard sides. With four strategically mounted cameras, the system eliminates common blind spots and delivers clear visibility of the bow and stern during lateral movements, transforming docking from a stressful task into a smooth, intuitive process.
“We are proud to be recognized with this award. This is a true milestone for recreational boating,” says Mike Landis, national sales manager for ASA Electronics. “For the first time, pontoon operators can see exactly what’s happening along both sides of the boat when it matters most during docking. It’s practical, it’s intuitive, and it’s now officially recognized by IBEX as an innovation that raises the bar for safety.”
