It’s time for the Village of Walloon Lake’s 6th Annual Walloon Lake Winterfest! Hosted at The Talcott, Barrel Back Restaurant and Tommy’s Walloon on Saturday, February 18 from 12 to 4 p.m., the event is free to attend and includes complimentary snowshoe and cross-country rentals at Tommy’s, a hot chocolate bar hosted by the Walloon Lake Inn, all-day happy hour specials from 12 to 6 p.m. at Barrel Back Restaurant, and giveaways every half hour.
If you’re in the mood for more thrills and winter fun, the 5th Annual Vintage Snowmobile Ride by the Petoskey Snowmobile Club will also take place, along with live ice carving by the Ice Brigades in Village Green Park.
Head out and explore local distilleries, breweries and wineries like Wise Men Distillery, Big Buck Brewery, Gabriel Farms & Winery, Mammoth Distillery, High Five Spirits and more. You can purchase tasting room drink tickets on site from 12 – 4 p.m., or purchase pre-sale tickets until Wednesday, February 8 and receive six drinks tickets for the price of five or receive a free Winterfest hat with a purchase of 10 tickets.
