Marine network company Wave WiFi is partnering with the ocean-cleanup organization 4ocean to reduce the amount of plastic in the world’s oceans. The new conglomerate means Wave WiFi will support 4oceans’ ocean-cleanup efforts by keeping their boats connected to the internet while they pick up plastic offshore.
“As boaters, we know that keeping the ocean clean is important,” says Jeff Graham, the president of Wave WiFi. “Helping 4ocean with their internet connectivity saves them time and money so they can concentrate on ridding the oceans and coastlines of plastic.”
4oceans also offers $20 bracelets for sale; purchase of one bracelet raises enough funds to remove one pound of trash from the ocean.
