Winnebago Industries, an RV manufacturer based in Forest City, Iowa, has purchased boatbuilder Chris-Craft.
Terms of the deal were not made public, but this is Winnebago’s first step into the marine market, in line with its plan to grow
“Chris-Craft is an iconic, premium brand that shares many similarities with our own heritage Winnebago brand, including a commitment to providing customers with the highest quality products and services,” says Michael Happe, president
Chris-Craft had been owned by Stellican Ltd. since 2001 but has been in business since 1874. Chris-Craft’s headquarter is in Sarasota, Florida and will stay there despite the new ownership. To learn more, visit winnebagoind.com.
