By June 7, 2018No Comments

Winnebago Industries, an RV manufacturer based in Forest City, Iowa, has purchased boatbuilder Chris-Craft.

Terms of the deal were not made public, but this is Winnebago’s first step into the marine market, in line with its plan to grow its existing outdoor lifestyle portfolio.

“Chris-Craft is an iconic, premium brand that shares many similarities with our own heritage Winnebago brand, including a commitment to providing customers with the highest quality products and services,” says Michael Happe, president and CEO of Winnebago Industries.

Chris-Craft had been owned by Stellican Ltd. since 2001 but has been in business since 1874. Chris-Craft’s headquarter is in Sarasota, Florida and will stay there despite the new ownership. To learn more, visit winnebagoind.com.
