Smooth cat.

When World Cat, the world’s largest builder of powercats, needed a 26-footer to fill its model line-up, the decision was an easy one for the designers and engineers at the 140,000-square-foot Tarboro, North Carolina plant.

The 260CC-X is a tough, steady underway, mid-sized center console utilizing state-of-the-art building processes and the latest in materials. The result is a dependable end-product developed for longevity and endurance in the marine environment.
“The new 260CC-X sustains our commitment to versatility and quality,” says World Cat’s New Product Developer Mike Myers.
For the all-in fishing enthusiast, she presents a self-storing bow filler and casting deck, side console rod storage, and four gunwale and two cockpit rod holders. In a unique bit of transom engineering, another casting platform is aft via a fold-down design, along with a 50-inch forward-facing bench seat, a 30-gallon livewell and a 120-quart insulated fishbox. The head is in the console. Power packages include dual Mercury or Yamaha outboards up to 200 hp apiece, optional Optimus 360 joystick controls and Garmin electronics. The 260CC-X has a comprehensive options list, including underwater lights, a marine head and a T-Top rocket launcher with ski tow.
“World Cat strives with every new model to innovate and deliver a better way to boat, meaning expansive deck space, a smooth and stable ride with less pounding afforded by our catamaran hull for a full day’s boating enjoyment,” Myers says.
With the introduction of its new 260CC-X, World Cat offers a quality, well-built boat, which can easily provide fishing excitement or a great way to spend the day with family and friends in comfort and safety.
