Yamaha Marine was sure to turn a few heads this boat show season, as it introduced eight new outboards, Set Point boat positioning function for Helm Master, and a number of new propellers and rigging options.

“We are so pleased to introduce so many new products during the first quarter of 2017,” says Ben Speciale, president of Yamaha. “The expansion of our brand through these products gives boaters even more options and ways to enjoy their time on the water while benefiting from Yamaha innovation, power and reliability.”

The eight new motors include: The new 126-pound F25, a midrange outboard; the F90 and F75, updated four-stroke models; the V MAX SHO 115 and 175, two new models to the V MAX SHO family with 25-inch shafts; the popular F150 and F175, now with digital electronic control (DEC); and the F200 with DEC.

The Set Point boat positioning function for Helm Master gives boaters the capacity to integrate boat control systems and then guide them with GPS navigation technology. Set Point operates in three modes that aid in everyday maneuvering challenges: Stay Point, Fish Point and Drift Point.

Other additions to the Yamaha line include the CL7 Display, new Talon Pontoon and Talon GP aluminum SDS Propellers; new SKS for Reliance, Saltwater Series II and Saltwater Series HS4 propellers; and new Remote Variable Trolling RPM Switch and New 704 Shift Control.
