In June, Yamaha made some of its latest products available for testing at a media event in Baltimore. Two of Yamaha’s newest products, the Talon Pontoon SDS Propeller and the V8 F350C outboard (pictured), were featured. The Talon Pontoon SDS Propeller is constructed from polished stainless steel with large blades; this provides a smoother and quieter ride — perfect for midrange-powered pontoons. The F350C outboard builds on Yamaha’s F350, and features variable camshaft timing (VCT) to optimize engine torque while running at low rpm; sequential multi-point fuel injection; less internal stress and friction; and a 5-year limited warranty.
