Axopar 45 Range Now Offered in Twin-Engine Option

By October 13, 2025No Comments

Axopar’s 45 is now available in a twin-engine option, powered by Mercury’s Verado V10 400hp outboards. Previously exclusively powered by triple engines, this new offering for the range delivers lower operational costs and easier maintenance without compromising performance.

Since its inception, the Axopar 45 range was designed to deliver long-distance comfort and fast commuting with adventure capabilities, offered in three configurations: The enclosed Cross Cabin, open Sun Top and sporty Cross Top. The twin engine power option delivers a combined 800hp, allowing top speeds of 45 knots, with a cleaner, more spacious aft deck layout with wider bathing platforms, delivering performance without compromising space and comfort.

A separately developed aluminum bracket moves the two engines further back, enhancing weight distribution and creating more space in the front of the engines, while a new passageway in front of the engines increases the aft deck space and allows for more movement on deck.

“This setup is a true testament to the efficiency and performance of the hull — fully capable of powering an over 10,000kg 45-foot boat with just two engines and two propellers, something no one else is doing. Achieving speeds of up to 45 knots on twin engines, while maintaining comfort and efficiency, is once again an example of Axopar’s key principles and philosophy, and why we continue to lead in this industry,” says Jan-Erik Wiitala, founding partner of Axopar Boats.
