Brunswick Fort Wayne Operations, producer of Harris FloteBote and Cypress Cay Pontoons, announced it will open a new 360,000-square-foot manufacturing facility on North Hadley Road in Fort Wayne, sometime this month.
The company considered other locations, but decided to stay in Northern Indiana and invest $1.2 million to expand its current operations. The new facility is being retrofitted and remodeled with plans to begin production in August 2013.
Brusnwick expects to hire an additonal 200 full- and part-time employees by 2016 to add to its current roster of 261 full-time workers.
