It’s the season for holiday cheer! The Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven, Michigan, is welcoming visitors to its new Maritime Heritage Center for three special events this December.

Saturday, December 3 from 12 to 3 p.m., stop by for a visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus in the Smith Grand Atrium, and don’t forget your camera to catch that special Christmas wish moment with Santa. This event is free to attend.

Great Lakes folk singer Lee Murdock will deliver Christmas cheer in “The Christmas Ship Concert” on Wednesday, December 14 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., featuring songs of Michigan history, maritime and holiday music. Tickets are $10 for museum members, $15 for non-members.

Stop by the museum on Saturday, December 17 from 1 to 2 p.m. for a special reading of children’s books about the famous Christmas Tree Ship from the museum’s own Captain Bob Harnish.
