Watch one of your favorite movies from your boat this summer! Chicago is one of the many locations that the Australian-based Floating Boat Cinema is launching a boat-up theater.
From September 9-13, the floating theater will be set up on the water (location TBD), with 12 to 24 mini boats that hold eight people each. Attendees must rent an entire boat for their group in order to respect social distancing rules.
According to the event page, movies are set to be a mix of golden oldies and new releases, and the full lineup will be announced when the tickets go on sale. Free popcorn will be given to all attendees.
Other cities that will feature this floating cinema include Cincinnati, Cleveland, Toronto and many more.
