Driving a legend.

Whether it’s actually riding in one years ago or pining for the opportunity to do so, it’s the kind of feeling that never goes away.
The Launch 27 has long been an iconic model in the Chris‑Craft portfolio, and we set out to thoughtfully reimagine the boat — building upon its timeless foundation of classic elegance, design excellence and exceptional craftsmanship, while seamlessly integrating the latest in marine technologies to elevate performance, comfort and the overall on‑water experience,” says Steve Heese, president of Chris-Craft Boats.
Raising the bar on a legend is no easy task, but with the Chris-Craft Launch 27, the mission was successful. Elevating the interior comfort, the designers installed a pair of swiveling helm chairs for not only excellent views into the seaway but also to create a gathering space, as the seats can easily face aft toward the C-shape couch. The standard Bimini folds neatly to preserve the dynamic exterior lines of the Launch 27 and can be opted for an electrically actuated top as well. The bow, accessed through a hinged center windshield, features a pair of lounges as well as forward seating.
A wide variety of hull, cockpit, striping and bottom colors are available. Options include Mercury or Volvo Penta power up to 430 hp, a boarding grabrail system for the aft engine walk over, a bow filler cushion, a bow thruster, a Garmin Ultrawide display with a 7-inch port helm display, and a freshwater system with a transom shower. These are just a sampling of offerings to make your Chris-Craft Launch 27 your own.
“For more than 150 years, we have carved out a proud place in our nation’s history and in the hearts of boat lovers around the world,” Heese adds. “We are committed to building on this legacy by investing in new technologies and designs that expand our offerings and upholding the Chris-Craft standards of excellence in boat design.”
