Leading RIB manufacturer Flexboat is making early strides into the U.S. market with a roster of new U.S. dealers signed over the past year. Now in its early stages of its new growth plan, Flexboat has signed dealers in California, Florida, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York and Rhode Island. The new Michigan dealer is Holland, Michigan’s Coral Gables Yachts.

“Every Dealer we sign takes us one step closer to getting the U.S. market more familiar with the Flexboat brand, and what inflatables as a category have to offer,” sys Domenico Fossati, consultant to Flexboat USA. “We’re excited to have these fine business partners onboard, and assure you this is just the beginning.”

Flexboat produces a wide range of RIBS with creative designs, ranging from its 6-foot, 7-inch foldable MINIFLEX to the larger 38-foot FLEX 1100 OPEN model. It’s this breadth of lineup — offering versatile, larger cruising cabin boats to midsize and more traditional tenders — that appeals to customers. Several of Flexboat’s models are available in both outboard and sterndrive configurations, and the design offers extreme protection from the elements as well as buoyancy at all times, thanks to several independent air chambers.

“We see a real opportunity in the U.S. as day boating continues to grow in popularity among American boaters,” adds Roberto Cox, business manager for Flexboat USA. “American boaters consider RIBs as primarily tenders for larger craft, but as more discover how substantial a craft an inflatable can be, they will be more commonly considered a candidate as a buyer’s primary boat.”
