Three Great Lakes states made it to the top five states with the most registered boats for 2022 — Minnesota, Michigan and Ohio — according to NMMA’s 2022 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract. The Great Lakes region accounted for 34.1% of all state boat registration.
