DiMillo’s Yacht Sales announced the acquisition of Hunt Yachts from Hinckley, securing an exclusive license with Ray Hunt Design to use the Hunt brand name in production boatbuilding. The partnership re-enforces DiMillo’s commitment to representing timeless, high-performance brands, and ensures Hunt Yachts by DiMillo’s will continue the brand legacy of exceptional ride quality, craftsmanship and design, while distinguishing DiMillo’s reputation as experts in the business.

“We were honored to have been asked by the team at Hinckley and Hunt Yachts to explore this opportunity to acquire Hunt Yachts,” says Chris DiMillo, founder of DiMillo’s Yacht Sales. “As a Hunt owner myself, I have a deep personal appreciation for the brand’s design, performance, and heritage. It is both an honor and a privilege to be the steward of this iconic brand going forward.  My team is ecstatic about this next chapter — what Hunt Yachts will bring to DiMillo’s, and what we will bring to the brand and Hunt Yachts family.”

The Hunt Yacht range, which includes the Ocean Series both flybridge and express configurations in models ranging from 56 to 76 feet, will complement DiMillo’s portfolio of premium brands.

“DiMillo’s is exceptionally well positioned to carry Hunt Yachts forward, and we’re genuinely pleased to see the brand in their hands,” adds Gavin McClintock, chief executive officer of Hinckley. “They bring deep expertise, longstanding customer relationships, and a shared commitment to quality that aligns naturally with Hunt’s heritage. For Hinckley, this transition allows us to focus on our core strengths of American craftsmanship, enduring design, and a highly personalized ownership experience, as we continue to invest in the future of Hinckley Yachts and Hinckley Yacht Services.”
