Hurricane Boats announced a fresh redesign of its classic Yacht Series hurricane SunDeck 2690 for 2026, showcasing a blend of style, comfort and updated technology. At just over 26 feet in length, the SunDeck 2690 fits between Hurricane’s SunDeck 2600 and new SunDeck 3200, and confidently navigates larger bodies of water, with a rating for up to 450 horsepower for impressive performance.
“The SunDeck series is all about delivering stylish, memorable moments on the water,” says Jeff Kinsey, vice president and general manager of Hurricane Boats. “To add to the experience, we’ve updated the furniture and helm for greater comfort and intuitive control, allowing owners to focus on what truly matters — fun, connection, and time well spent with family and friends.”
The redesigned deck boat includes updated furniture upholstered with Soft Touch vinyl and Cool Touch seating options; a modern helm with standard 9-inch display (option for a 12-inch upgrade), a sleek digital switching system with an intuitive custom user interface for ultimate control. Fun extras include a doggie bowl and mat for easy access and stability when your pet is on board, as well as a newly designed lockable glove box for gear and personal items.
New for the 2026 model year outside of the SD 2690 are a new “Patio” option available on select FunDeck models that adds an extended platform at the rear, as well a new Rear Lounge Layout for the FunDeck lineup that allows passengers to comfortably lounge facing the rear.
