Lexington State Harbor on Lake Huron in Lexington, Michigan, will undergo major infrastructure upgrades in 2026 and 2027, with multiple phased closures affecting boaters and visitors, according to reporting by mlive.com. The enhancements are part of a collaborative effort between the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to improve the marina, boating slips, fuel dock, pump-out station and adjacent boating access site.
In addition, Lexington’s Tierney Park will also be closed through this spring, as it undergoes renovations to add a new restroom, concession area, amphitheater and additional parking spaces, according to the Village of Lexington.
