Spanish electric boat builder Magonis will make its first debut at boot Dusseldorf January 21-29, 2023 with a display of two of its electric Wave e-550s in gray titanium and white, along with its innovative MAGBuoy charging station and solar awning.

The 18-foot Wave e-550 is powered by a 30 KW MAG Power electric system, delivering a top speed of 22 knots. The bowrider layout delivers a comfortable space that transforms from a dinette into a sunbed, while a dolphin striker, anchor, ladder, platforms and a full teak deck complete the package. Optional features include a refrigerator, shower, awning and anti-theft device.

Along with the e-550, Magonis will be debuting its new MAGBuoy in its efforts to drive and innovate within electric navigation solutions. The MAGBuoy is the first-ever charging buoy, compatible with all boat brands and offers a built-in battery and underwater cable that connects to a city’s electrical grid for easy charging, even in areas that currently don’t offer charging stations.

“Making electric boats, and developing technology like the MAGBuoy that charges any electric boat, means that more people who want to switch from petrol to electric have the infrastructure and confidence to do so,” explains François Jozic, CEO of Magonis.

Magonis will also debut its solar awning, which provides shade while charging up to 1kWh practically anywhere, and is both foldable and flexible. “In addition to our efficient, smart, and pure electric boats, Magonis is on a mission to create global solutions for electrification, reaching into new technologies,” adds Miquel Antonio, technical director of Magonis.
