Maritimo’s new S50 Sedan Motor Yacht made its global launch at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May 2026. Inspired by the increasing popularity of Maritimo’s single-level motor yachts, the S50 blends contemporary European-inspired styling with extended cruising capabilities in a practical yet luxurious single-level platform.
“At its core, the S50 Sedan has been conceived to deliver a seamless connection between interior and exterior living spaces, which is an increasingly important consideration for modern motor yacht owners. The expansive main saloon exemplifies this philosophy, offering a level of openness, natural light, and airflow that sets a new benchmark in the 50-foot sedan motor yacht category,” says Phil Candler, Maritimo operations manager.
The reimagined main saloon positions the galley on the port side to connect with the S50’s larger cockpit. The main deck maximizes space and usability with large panoramic side windows, and a new “boot” structure design integrates cockpit seating with a lazarette below that houses key onboard systems. The “boot” includes a built-in barbecue and sink for alfresco dining.
“Maritimo continues to focus on delivering vessels that inspire confidence and encourage owners to venture further. The new S50 has a real flair about it, without altering the traditional Maritimo robustness,” adds Maritimo Manufacturing Manager, Paul Wrench. “It is not just in all the curves and angles of the roof, nor the significantly different C-pillar at the rear of the coachhouse. Even the air ducting for the engine room is sleeker.”
All-weather protection from the large fixed overhang adds to onboard comfort, while a two-stateroom layout modeled after Maritimo’s M50 Flybridge features large, walk around beds and expansive bathrooms. A tilting and lowering swim platform adds to the onboard space and usability.
